THE LOUISA ARTS CENTER, VA

On March 19, 2011 we performed at the Louisa Arts Center in Louisa, VA.

These are some of the photos taken by Richard Hinde.

The town of Louisa is less than an hour from both Richmond and Charlottesville.
The Louisa Arts Center is part of a historic school building that was renovated to be the Town Hall.
Restoration on the Arts Center was completed in 2008.
It includes an art gallery, education rooms and a well equipped 200 seat auditorium.

Here we are (mostly in green) performing just 2 days after St. Patrick's Day.
This concert was made possible by a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts

Chuck and Bernard watch

as Kathleen "flies" across the stage.

Virgina audiences always join in the Breton dance.
Here they take a bow.

When we perform everyone in the band has something to say:

BARBARA: The Bodhran can be intense...

but sometimes I just groove to the beat.

CHUCK: The bass holds it all together...

Let me think. Where was I?

BERNARD: I can be nice, but...

don't forget who's da boss!

JIM: After I play Banjo,

I have a pain right here.

KATHLEEN: If I jump off the stage

can I beg a ride home?

See you soon!
